Sol Caribe Hotel - Punta Allen

We had a beachfront cabaña which was really great, comfortable, very spacious with

Warm water and good pressure in the shower which we enjoyed after a road trip in Mexico. The place is quite, secluded, calm and really allowing you to relax and unwind. The restaurant serves fresh food, but there could be more variety.

Had stunning and great location by the carribean sea. It was also close enough to the jungle around looks amazing, a beautiful white sand beach, covered in coco palms, near Punta Allen and Cancun or Tulum.

The hotel of choice in Punta Allen. The venue was brilliant, the staff was welcoming, great experience overall. Location just off a beautiful white sand beach, covered in coco palms, near Punta Allen, the carribean sea, and Sol Caribe and Punta Allen. Also, in the whole peninsula. Big size stunning room with view over sea. A great selection of food at the continental breakfast.

What you should know

The beachfront location offers a fine, serene experience, with sparkling turquoise waters and daily beach cleaning, ensuring a pristine environment. Spacious rooms with unique natural cooling keep you comfortable while enjoying the lush surroundings.

Expect slow service at times. Meal delays can be frustrating, even when the hotel isn't busy. Accessing the hotel involves a lengthy, bumpy ride, which may not suit everyone.

The lack of coffee before breakfast is frustrating!!! Beach cleanliness needs attention, with garbage found along the way. A menu would be helpful instead of relying on staff for food options. Certain amenities can definitely improve!!!

Our stay was like a dream getaway.

Beautiful beach and peaceful atmosphere, but limited coffee availability in the mornings.

This place feels like a hidden gem, man. The beach was so empty, just pure relaxation! Plus, we did this ecotour that was mind-blowing-we saw dolphins and sea turtles up close. That's not something you forget easily, you know?

It wasn't exactly cheap, but for the experience, it was worth it.

A hidden gem for beach lovers!

This place is like paradise! The beach is fine and super secluded. We really loved the bar area where we grabbed some snacks. The owner was super nice and made sure we had everything we needed. Just a heads up-the road getting there is pretty bumpy, so a solid SUV is a must.

We stayed in the beachfront bungalow and it was super spacious and clean. The bed was ridiculously comfortable, and the decor was fresh. Plus, the views from the patio were amazing! The garden setting.

We enjoyed the beautiful beach, and the activities like fishing in Ascension Bay and snorkelling in nearby spots were lovely. The staff was friendly and super helpful in arranging everything for us. It's a perfect spot to unwind.

The only downside was the lack of timely coffee in the morning. If you're an early riser, you might find yourself waiting a bit before breakfast. It would be great if they could have coffee available before meal times.
